David and I took our dink to the lighthouse. You can only get there by boat - no roads lead to the lighthouse. Very interesting... the lamp burns kerosene oil with a wick and the lens moves by a spring mechanism that is hand cranked every several hours. I took lots of photos - both of the lighthouse and the views from the top. Will get them posted on the GHYC website soon.
